Morgan Compton Powell, Attorney at Law

Morgan Compton Powell was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2023 and began her career as an Associate Attorney at Millender Elder Law LLC. She graduated cum laude from the University of South Carolina Honors College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health and earned a juris doctor degree from the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law. 

Morgan began working at Millender Elder Law LLC, as a law clerk, in May 2022. Her background in public health and her passion for those with disabilities has given her a strong foundation in her practice. She has prior clerking experience working in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, corporate matters, and real estate. 

While attending law school, Morgan served as an Articles Editor for the ABA Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Journal; a Peer Mentor; and a student attorney for the Education Rights Clinic. She was also a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society and secretary of The Health Law Society.
